Example Lesson Pack

Here is an example of one of our lesson packs designed to work with our MiRoCODE platform and we are constantly developing more packs. We are currently producing these to follow the UK National Computing Curriculum for Key Stages 1, 2 and 3. Upon purchase of a MiRo-E you will gain login access to our Teaching Portal where we upload new packs regularly.

Please enjoy the lesson pack below on Loops aimed at Key Stage 2 students and includes a Teacher Plan, Student Worksheet and a Coding Step-by-Step.

  • The Student Worksheet can be printed individually, edited as a PDF or projected and answers written in books independently or in small groups.

  • The Teacher Plan is designed to help guide the teachers through what the students are working on and provide additional questions, activities, class discussion points and, where applicable, differentiation for different ability students.

  • The Coding Step-by-Step is either at the end of the Student Worksheet or a separate document. This provides a guided coding challenge and can be used individually, in small groups or, for higher ability students, not at all and used if students are having trouble. It can be printed or displayed on a screen/projector for the whole class to work through.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any queries.
